     Before LIGHT FEET, Oskar has had the opportunity to direct other short films through the London Film School. Prior to that, he attended Saint Martins College  of Art, where he did a course in fine art.


     He has recently finished “Behind The Mountains”, a documentary with the sponsorship of the Mexican government about the indigenous culture in his native land.


      Oskar is currently involved in various projects including  his debut feature film “Heaven Come Dawn”/ “Cielo Abajo”.

          Jairo has been working in the Mexican film industry for over eight years. Jairo is a director in his own right, and has managed music acts and shot several music videos.

SARAH STRANG

     Oskar and Sarah met at St. Martins College and since then, she has become a successful fine artist based in London. She has exhibited internationally, in group exhibitions, art fairs, and in solo exhibitions.


    Her practice revolves around notions of childhood and labour in developing countries. She  is currently the official artist-in-residence of the Princess Diana trial.

ESAUS CHAVEZ PALMA

          LIGHT marks the acting debut of 6 yr. old Adal. Before this film, Esaus had already perfomed for live audiences singing in his grandfather’s Raramuri choir along with his on-screen and real-life mother, Anacely.  Both of them were spotted at one of those performances.

ANACELY PALMA LOYA

           This film would not have been made possible without the collaboration of Anacely. Anacely passionately promotes her indigenous background and is outspoken about the injustices the Raramuri’s are subject to. She was a major force in the pre-production stages of this film.

GABRIEL CURRINGTON

     Starting his career composing music for television documentaries Gabriel has gained much experience working on a variety of very different types of productions from Bafta-nominated documentaries to entertainment shows and to orchestral albums.


     Realising his skill for dramatic writing, he has become more involved with writing for Film and has started to become recognised and sought after as a composer for this genre.
